Who is Behavioral Data?

How can Behavioral Data help me?

Our targeted mailing lists make it easy for you to find the right sales leads. Our On Demand search engine for lists and leads makes it easy for anyone to effectively target the optimum audience for their products or services. Clients with any degree of experience in direct marketing, even novices, can easily configure, order, and download a targeted prospect list in minutes.

Why should I use Behavioral Data instead of a compiler or list broker?

A list compiler can only offer a solution based on the information they specifically collect. The databases used by Behavioral Data merges the information offered by several compilers and list managers and will deliver the lead generation solution that solves our client's business objective through a wide range of custom criteria.

Quality and Accuracy

Where does Behavioral Data get its information?

Our lists and leads are generated through partnerships with national aggregators of data, including Equifax, Experian, Acxiom, Dun & Bradstreet, along with public records.

What types of leads does Behavioral Data offer?

Our leads include a consumer database of over 200 MILLION records, a business database of over 14 MILLION records, a new homeowner database that includes over 100,000 new records each week, a new mover database that includes over 300,000 new records each week, and a resident and occupant database that includes every home in any given geographic area.

Are your leads privacy-compliant and compliant with Do Not Call lists?

Behavioral Data's records are updated each month to include the following:

- NCOA (National Change of Address)
- Direct Marketing Association's Do Not Mail file scrubbing
- FTC & State Attorney General Do Not Call file scrubbing
- Deceased scrubbing
- Prison scrubbing

What percent of the pieces I mail should I expect to be delivered?

If you send your mail campaign out within 30 days of the time your order is placed, you should expect the following delivery rates:

- Consumer Mailing Lists: 94% or better
- Business Mailing Lists: 90% or better
- New Homeowner Lists: 94% or better
- New Mover Lists: 94% or better
- Occupant Lists: 95% or better

What percent phone accuracy should I expect?

If you call the contacts on your targeted prospect list within 30 days of the time your order is placed, you should expect the following phone accuracy rates:

- Consumer Lists: 90% or better
- Business Lists: 85% or better

Leads and List Ordering

Do I need to register to run a list count or receive a quote?

You may run list counts and obtain quotes as often as needed without registering using our On Demand search engine.

What is the difference between Consumer Lists and Occupant Lists?

Consumer Lists allow you to use demographic and behavioral filters to reach your best prospects, and are addressed to a specific individual within the household. Resident and Occupant Lists are addressed to the ‘Current Resident' and are appropriate when you want to reach or saturate every household within a geographic area, without the use of demographic filters.

What leads and lists can I order online? How do I order Specialty Lists?

How long does it take to get my list?

Lists are delivered within 24 hours, and usually within 30 minutes during normal business hours. After completing your order online you will first receive an order confirmation email with your order ID. This is your receipt. Shortly after you will receive a second email, the order fulfillment email, which will contain the links to download your list.

Do you offer list and leads of Canadian consumers and businesses?

Canadian lists and leads may be available by request. Contact us for more details.

What is the difference between single use versus multiple use?

A one-time use of our mailing lists means you may only use the list one time. With unlimited use, you may use the direct mailing list as many times as you like for one year. After one year, you may continue marketing to anyone who responded to your campaign or who became a client of yours. Those individuals however who never responded to your campaign, you may no longer contact. In order to contact those individuals after one year, you would need to re-order the list. We recommend you do this anyway because over the course of the year, the list will change. Some of these changes are due to NCOA updates, while others may have asked not to be contacted. Fresh leads will furthermore become available. To maximize the deliverability of your lead generation campaign, it's important that you use the freshest available list.

Please note with Resident and Occupant Lists, you may only order for a one-time use or two-time use of the list.

In what format will my list arrive?

Lists are delivered in two formats:

- Comma-delimited Text file
- Excel spreadsheet

Can I order mailing labels?

Pricing

How much do your mailing lists and sales leads cost?

Use our On Demand search engine for the most accurate possible quotes tailored to your custom marketing campaign.

What is the minimum order?

All online orders have a minimum cost, including any discounts, of $50.00

How can I pay? What credit cards do you accept?

We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover Cards.

What is your return policy? What if I get back a higher than expected amount of mail?

Orders may be canceled within five business days with a cancellation fee of $5 per 1000 names with a $25 minimum. Orders may not be canceled after five business days.

Hold onto all returned mail pieces. Provided that your mailing consists of at least 500 pieces and is mailed out within 30 days of your order, we will refund you for the price of the name and half the postage for each returned piece above the guaranteed delivery rate. We reserve the right to ask you to ship us the returned pieces (at your expense) prior to a credit being issued.

How do I remove my name from your list?

If you wish to no longer receive unsolicited mail, we recommend you contact the Direct Marketing Association's Mail Preference Service, the official mail preference service for the Direct Marketing and Catalog communities. Here you will be able to complete a form and your name will be removed from thousands of databases simultaneously. Each month list providers scrub their database against this file to make sure they respect the privacy.
